Features

Effective diagnostic connectivity solutions enable the instant transmission of patient results, real-time remote monitoring of equipment, and comprehensive data management for disease surveillance and inventory control.

Cost Efficiency: LabAccess utilizes a one-time license fee model, reducing the high recurring costs. It eliminates the dependency on expensive connectivity solution.

Unified Platform: It integrates various functionalities into a single cohesive platform, including real-time epidemiology monitoring, treatment management, remote equipment monitoring, maintenance tracking, and inventory management. This unification ensures seamless operations and improved data management.

Comprehensive Data Collection: LabAccess captures detailed diagnostic data, patient information, equipment logs, and inventory status. This extensive data collection supports programmatic monitoring, epidemiological analysis, and real-time decision-making.

Real-Time Monitoring and Notifications: The system ensures real-time transmission of test results and equipment status, providing immediate notifications to patients, clinicians, and regional health officials. This feature enhances timely interventions and treatment linkages.

Enhanced Treatment Management: LabAccess tracks patients from diagnosis through treatment, ensuring comprehensive management of treatment cases and monitoring outcomes. This feature is crucial for effective patient care and public health management.

Efficient Maintenance and Repair Tracking: The software streamlines the reporting and tracking of equipment issues, facilitating quick resolution and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). It includes features for attaching supporting documents, real-time notifications, and preventative maintenance alerts.

Inventory Management: LabAccess maintains real-time records of inventory levels, predicts stockouts and expirations, and recommends stock transfers to optimize resource use. This ensures laboratories have the necessary supplies to function without interruptions.

LabAccess is designed to provide a comprehensive and streamlined approach to managing diagnostic data in public health settings. It consists of two main components: the LabAccess Relay and the LabAccess Portal.

Relay
The LabAccess Relay is a desktop/laptop application that acts as the intermediary between diagnostic equipment and the centralized server.

Portal
The LabAccess Portal is a web-based application that provides real-time access to the data collected by the LabAccess Relay.

The LabAccess Relay component enables a broader scope of data collection, facilitating programmatic monitoring and intervention capabilities that were previously not possible. By capturing extensive data such as equipment logs, maintenance requests, and calibration history, LabAccess empowers health programs to implement more effective and timely interventions, ultimately improving public health outcomes.

LabAccess ensures that test results, along with related details provided by lab technicians, are uploaded in real-time from the Relay. This includes patient and clinician contact information. Immediately upon upload, both the patient and clinician are notified that the result is ready. For critical results, such as RIF-resistant TB, regional and local focal persons are also notified to facilitate rapid follow-up and linkage to specialized treatment.
